I’ll try to dumb it down for you best I can.

Live round means “this can kill.” A dummy and a blank cannot kill by themselves. They are not live rounds. I think what happened was that gun had a bullet inside the barrel, and when they shot the blank (lots of powder, no bullet) it caused the bullet in the barrel to do what it does.

Also, on mobile so I can’t quote this properly but, “… everything should be 100% the same terminology at all times.” Everything is the same terminology at all times. Things have meanings, and there are many thing things to be named in the world. No one is being sly with this one.

Would you call a fox a dog because they are both animals? No, you wouldn’t, foxes and dogs are two distinct things.
