PS4 Pro [Megathread] {2016.09.08}

Go ahead and tell me what the Pro offers more than the One S.

 1. The PS4 is significantly more powerful than the One S. 2.The One S is barely more powerful than the OG one and does not offer any base resolution or frame per second upgrade on old or new xbox one games.
 2. The increased power in the Pro gives the console a native resolution higher than 1080p. Xbox one s can barely archive 1080p in any games. So it is normally upscaling from 900p this gives the Pro a huge advantage in having a much clearer upscaled image due to the higher native resolution.
 3. There are already confirmed games with native 4k resolution. Such as the last of us remastered and tomb raider.

I've already stated that the one s has a 4k blue ray. I'm disappointed that the PS4 does not.

they're alienating PS4 customers like me who wish to buy a better console or upgrade to a better console. The expensive price doesn't justify what it's offering. The Xbox Scorpio would absolutely screw the PS4 Pro.

Again for the 3rd or 4th time now. You are not being alienated. Maybe you feel disappointed that it's not up to your standards but alienated, no. You should really go check the definition. This is a fairly large upgrade for those that only have 1080p upgrades and for customers that have 4k televisions.

Even the PS4 Slim doesn't offer anything better than the original PS4, as it's just slimmer. While the Xbox One slim offers a lot more.

You are correct, the slim is just a slimmer version, it was never advertised as anything more so I don't see your point here.

Locking the PS4 Pro framerate to the PS4 is just stupid to me as a customer.

Frame rates are locked in MULTIPLAYER as to not give Pro owners an unfair advantage over OG PS4's and slim PS4's.
