I have not yet figured out climate dynamics completely and I am approaching the belief that the sun is a major driver of Earth's climate. We are currently experiencing a climate that is warming in areas that have not sufficiently adapted to warming. I speculate that plants that have adapted might have changed their genetic expression to better handle warmth. Ok so now enter all these volcanoes. Volcanic activity is correlated with climate cooling and ice ages in Earth's history. It could be possible that these volcanoes cause a sudden change from extreme warmth to freezing. If plants have prepared for warmth how will they handle the sudden change? Please forgive my ignorance.
