First of all that was almost illegible bc it was just one long sentence.

And I’m not saying property = life. I’m saying that people have a right to defend themselves and their property. The argument that they should let looters ruin their business because the government should just take care of everyone is a horrible argument.

And I understand they are about trying to change the system. But the system is not going to change overnight. So are they just going to riot until cops kill more people and are subsequently charged, until people decide we no longer have systemic racism? It starts with one case. In this case, the cop has been arrested and charged. I’m not a lawyer but it seems like 3rd degree is what happened. Charges also have a lot to do with what the prosecution believes they can prove in court, so I’ll let them handle that.
