I quit smoking 30 days ago.

Takes a week for the nicotine to get out of your system, so I am told.

Thats the least of your problems.

The hard truth is that giving up smoking takes a mountain of self restraint. I try to explain it to never-smokers as being told you never have to eat food again. You get a pill once a day and that's it. You never need to spend money on it, don't have to plan your life around it, don't have to take a packed lunch all the time.

But you never get to enjoy the pleasure of food again.

And if you hang out with all your food friends, this is going to be 10 times harder, especially if they are dicks about it.

As the days roll by, you will find it gets easier. I used to miss it when I was driving the most. I stopped drinking for about 2 months as that was when I fucked it up before.

Stay strong OP.
