r/antiwork mod who went on Fox News admitted to raping a woman. This is fucking disgusting

"Anti work" is not a more radical position than "work reform", it's just dumber. Marxism was never anti work by any stretch of the imagination, it pretty explicitly highlighted how there's dignity in work and how work is a prerequisite for realizing one's full humanity. Furthermore, getting us all on UBI so we can lay and scroll tiktok all day would not be some unthinkable nightmare for the capitalist class. Plenty of capitalist societies are already seriously considering this because they increasingly don't need us anymore but they can't really take us out behind the barn and shoot us yet so meanwhile they'll throw us some scraps to keep us pacified. You would effectively have no collective anymore and be completely reliant on the government for everything. It's not "radical", it's just another vision of neoliberal dystopia.
