/r/singapore random discussion and small questions thread for December 07, 2021

I believe that there needs to be a good fit between the organisation and the employee, and job dissatisfaction can arise if that's lacking. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and the more we learn about ourselves, the better we get at finding a job that fits us well.

What has this job help you realise about yourself or your working style/preferences? Would an industry switch benefit you? I agree that people telling you to "get good" can be toxic, so perhaps you might need to think about what you are good at and how you can do it for a living.

Work is a huge part of life, but it's not life itself. I hope that there are things outside of work that bring you joy too. Rest well, stranger.
