/r/WorldNews Live Thread: Russian Invasion of Ukraine Day 10, Part 2 (Thread #108)

As an American, I do not even care about the rising prices of gas or food. Sure it’s gonna hit a lot of people hard in the pockets and be difficult for a while. However, it’s a price worth paying because at the end of the day, we aren’t leaving family behind to fight a war while we escape to a country where we don’t even speak the language just to survive. To complain about having to pay a few extra dollars for gas or food as if it’s worse than what the Ukrainian people are going through is extremely appalling. Imagine not having a home to go back to because it was destroyed by Russian soldiers. Imagine not being able to communicate with your loved ones you left behind and being unsure if they’re even alive. Imagine facing all the sheer disparity that comes with experiencing war in your own country.

Don’t be so dense. Our problems are minuscule compared to majority of others in this world.
