Racism isn’t as big of a deal as it used to be in America.

Hopefully, I don't get ostracized for what I am about to say. Might delete this later.

I am black and my family is wealthy.

When I went off to college and started hanging around other black people that didn't grow up like me I noticed they were a lot angrier than the black people I normally hang around.( I also noticed this with other races who grew up poorer.)

I feel racist for typing this out but I noticed a lot of wealthier black people don't care much for poorer black people. Mainly because they constantly point out slavery as to why they can't get out of the ghetto, they're always bringing up race issues, or have this weird hostile phobia of white people

But I do think being poor is tough and anyone who escapes poverty deserves a medal. There are so many factors that are keeping them in poverty. Drug use, mental health issues, parents not encouraging their children to get an education, gangs, harassment from the police, money, etc. The list can go on and on.

I think it's safe to say when you have money you are generally more happier than if your struggling, and when you are struggling your always looking for someone to blame on why your struggling.
