Rand Paul: 'I will force the expiration' of the PATRIOT Act

When that isn't something he wants. Is it a possible side effect of the kind of policies he likes that happens to be more about self reliance and the government staying out of peoples business? Sure, its possible, but to say he wants people in poverty to stay in poverty is ridiculous.

Okay yes, he doesn't WANT to keep people in poverty. It's a possible situation which would come form his policy.

So, we are just going to keep letting the next generation end up with worse issues? You can't magically keep giving away money you don't have forever.

Are we gonna let them stay there? I'm not saying "Let's let them stay on it forever. Free money!" That's not at all what I think most Americans want. I think there should be a time limit like there's for unemployment. Certainly letting people stay in poverty is not the way to go though.

Seriously, its important to not make up your own implications based on something he said. If I said I like green apples are you going to harass me about why I don't like red apples even if I haven't said that? It would be really nice if people just used actual quotes and not made up their own delusional version of reality.

He's compared gay marriage to beastality. "it is difficult, because if we have no laws on this, people take it to one extension further. Does it have to be humans?" he's also stated it "offends" him.

Don't get me wrong. I don't like Bernie Sanders' policies on a lot of issues. But for LBGT, wants to reduce spending on war (cause let's face it, war is a money machine for US), and taking money away from politics are pretty spot on. They both have their ups and downs. To me, he has more policies in common with libertarianism. That's obviously open to discussion depending on which side you lean more towards for some issues. Rand has a few good things about him, don't get me wrong. He's gotten some great policies form his dad.
