I wouldn’t pre-pay someone unless it was a small dollar value item. If anyone is dropping huge dollars they can’t afford to lose on marketplace, then yeah, maybe never prepay. Then again if someone is distraught over a $15 scam then maybe they shouldn’t be spending any money at all.

The chance of being scammed on marketplace for low dollar value items after you gave access to screenshotting their profiles, having their address, etc is very low. I wouldn’t prepay anyone without that info. This is even lower for high value items, which would be ridiculous to even buy off marketplace. I only imagine cars and vehicles fall into a category where you’d uhhhh need to meet up first lol

Then again, you can still use electronic payment methods without pre paying. Just meet at location and Venmo or cashapp them on the spot.
