Is it really a sin to be transgender in Christianity. Seeing as in the NT there is no explicit outright prohibiting against transgenderism

I see where you're coming from and I'll be blunt with you too. People aren't supposed to be solely focused on their genders, this world is not our home and our true identity lies in Christ. They may think that changing their bodies will make them whole, but it won't. The world and all of us in it are broken and sinful, and the only way to fix that is to accept God's perfect sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whether you want to believe it or not.

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20
