I used to think she was a friend. She had been inviting me to hang out with her and our mutual friends, but she acted very strange and distant towards me once I got there. I later found out, she had started a rumor that I was stalking her, that I had been showing up to these hangouts uninvited, and I knew where she was because I was following her around town. One of our mutual friends confronted me wanting to know what was going on.

I still had text messages showing we were on friendly terms, that she had been inviting me, as well as recent incoming calls from her phone to mine. I cleared my name with most of our mutual friends and they stopped talking to her. The situation made me very anxious, and for a long time I felt like I had to double check I had some kind of evidence I had been invited to hang out with anyone else.

It's a small town so I still hear about her once in a while. Over the years she's made multiple rape/abuse accusations, and threatened to kill her boss for not sleeping with her.
