Regenerative tooth fillings could put an end to root canals

You may want to look into dental discount plans. I just recently had a series of fillings done and thanks to the discount plan - which goes active within a few days of purchasing unlike insurance - I cut my cost by more than half.

You have to do your research though, not all plans are created equal, and a dentist can accept or refuse whichever ones they want. Dentalplans.com is a broker that offers many options, and if you look up your dentist they say which plans the dentist accepts. However, be sure to check with the dentist's office to confirm before buying any plan, as the broker's information may be outdated.

Most of the plans will not give you a fee schedule to actually look at until you purchase them; but the sales reps for the website can look it up if you know the actual dental medical code for the procedure you need. Your dentist may be able to give you the info as well if you can give them a specific plan name - this would be the most accurate, but it's hit-or-miss if they can actually pull up the information before you sign up.

Good luck! I waited too long to deal with some small fillings, and I ended up with four large ones plus four more small ones. If it wasn't for the discount plan I'd still be suffering. It was still expensive, but far more manageable.
