Retirement should be a right. But it’s in danger of becoming a privilege for the rich

Not in zones 1-3. You're not comprehending what I'm saying.

I am comprehending what you're saying, maybe you're not understanding me? I said that was the price for London, and provided the government stats for it. You were the one who started saying Zones 1-3, I didn't bring them up, I was talking about London as a whole.

That's the point. This is the reality of living in London on low income. 'That sucks, but unfortunately it's life' is a piss poor attempt at solving a massive social problem in the most important city in the country. Thanks for your contribution.

I wasn't trying to solve the situation. I said it's shit. I don't get why you're so angry and triggered right now. It's early morning, try to chill out a bit mate.

But I was talking to the guy explaining who expecting to have £500K to buy a house on a £22k salary isn't normal.

Unfortunately London has ridiculous prices. They won't drop if people keep paying those prices. The solution is to move to places where you can afford housing. Like I said, that's shit and doesn't fix the situation. But it's just a fact of life that if you're on a low income you can't chose to live where you want.
