Right lads, is it true that there’s a “commandment” to not drink feckin tea? Of all feckin things ffs

Bit of background,

I’m a mod over at r/RateMyTea and I search daily for “tea” in reddit search. I like to recommend nice brews to be posted at our sub.

This morning I came across a post in r/lds about a church commandment on not doing things, one of which apparently bars tea.

I am certain that either a) your ex church’s site is hacked and someone is having a laugh or b) the church is managed by mind controlling gobshites who’ve no business telling anyone to not drink a beverage especially in countries like mine (ROI and UK) where we drink 5-6 cups per day.

And then yer man goes on to say that they are promised “happier and longer lives” and I said mate if any bloke tells ye they know how to make anything happier or longer ye send that shite to yer spam bin straightaway.

Ffs this is like something off father ted

“Don’t drink tea or Satan will get ye”
