[ROH SPOILERS] ROH booking is slowly falling apart.

Hey guys, I made this post a couple days ago on another subreddit but with the news of The Addiction winning the tag titles on a house show and the Global Wars PPV occurring, I thought I would repost it as I'm getting increasingly worried about the direction of ROH.

ROH has had a lot of missed opportunities when it comes to storyline's, when Dijak left the HOT I thought they could have put him in a long-term storyline with Lethal until Cabana came back but nothing really came of it.

During the feud between Cole and O'Reilly it was blatantly obvious that Cole was getting better reactions than O'Reilly as a face (I think Cole works better as a cocky face and O'Reilly works much better as a super serious no gimmick disrespectful heel like Shibata), at one of the PPV's (I think it was Final Battle) they could have pulled off a double turn with O'Reilly refusing to let go of Cole's arm and then being a dick to Fish after he comes out to separate them leading to a triple threat.

Roddy was pretty hot off beating Lethal for the TV title, I really don't think they should have had him turn heel, and they still could of had him do the Roddy vs The World thing just with Roddy eventually overcoming Ishii.

I don't really see why the Young vs Castle feud didn't end at Final Battle when that ppv is really supposed to be the culmination of feuds.

ANX hasn't really set the world on fire in their return, the Briscoe's are a bit stale and War Machine don't really have any characters besides them being big and scary, I would have put the titles on the returning MCMG and had them feud with the Young Bucks.

Another big problem I have been noticing is that none of the faces act like faces, Mike Elgin is mean't to be white meat but half the time he doesn't even high five the audience members while walking to the ring and then acts cocky in the ring, same with O'Reilly and a few of the other guys, the only guy to do it is really Jay Briscoe, I'm not suggesting the promotion should be filled with out and out babyfaces but its good to have some diversity.

I also feel like ROH needs an injection of new faces, maybe bring back Chris Hero or get in a new guy like Trevor Lee to spice it up a bit.

EXTRA: So I watched Global Wars last week and the PPV was pretty meh, I'm glad Castle picked up the win in the fatal 4-way but nothing else really did much for me. We knew Ishii wasn't coming back to the USA for a while and so the result didn't really come as a shock, also as much as I love Fish as a in-ring performer he hasn't really done that much to get this feud over because his beef is really with Roddy not Ishii, so good match but not much else.

You had your prototypical Bullet Club vs ACH/Sydal and whoever they didn't book on the rest of the card, which is always good from an in-ring perspective but didn't really offer anything from a storyline perspective.

The Addiction vs Cheeseburger and Liger was a fun match but makes absolutely no sense in context to what happened 2 days later.

War Machine vs The Briscoe's was ok, getting a bit tired of tag team's just kicking out of everything now.

Naito vs O'Reilly was good, love both those guys but again nothing really appealing from a storyline perspective (Getting tired of watching ROH guys bend the knee to NJPW guys but I guess its ok for this as Naito is the world champ).

The main event was ok, nothing spectacular, seemed like they were wrestling at half pace, maybe it Cabana usually working the comedy style and being a tad rusty but a serviceable main event. The promo package was dreadful for this match, instead of getting me ramped up for the match with rock music in the package we get the usual ROH theme and the usual bloke speaking over it, reading the storyline like a shopping list.

The ending made me depressed, I'm glad Adam Cole has something to do with BC now but I'm just bored of the whole angle, it does nothing for me any more. Its been 3 years and the whole 'we are gonna takeover NWO style' thing has just worn dry. Its just the same thing over and over again and it would have been nice to see Colt picking up the title so we could have had a face vs heel feud instead of this heel vs heel vs face triple threat BC vs House of Truth feud.

The whole Mr Wrestling 3 "SUPERKICK!" counter was funny for a while but then it just started to get annoying. Superkick overkill from the BC just felt bland, the crowd stopped reacting about half way through the 'invasion'.

2 days later and The Addiction a team made up of 2 guys in or near there 40's (I do love Frankie and Daniels) beat War Machine on a house show after losing to Cheeseburger and Liger at a PPV? Ok... why exactly? Why not give the titles to MCMG at a roh tv taping as a big return title comeback, or why not give it to the BC as part of their invasion? Very baffling to me.
