It’s just band

I've got two thoughts on that subject.

First is the cost. I used to recommend to everyone that had interest to go and march. Only a decade ago you could march for around a thousand or two (give or take). Now i hesitate to recommend something that's going to require a lottery win and a mortgage to do for multiple years.

Second is the online situation. Reddit and places like this are cool for discussion, but some of the new auditioning guys that post on here seem to get so caught up in "what corps to march in 3 years? Am I good enough to march in 2065? Should I march bluecoats or crown in order to place in the top 3?"

Seems to me like the paralysis by analysis has become more prevalent. Sometimes it's good to just pick a corps because it's cool and go do it.
