Gaga was great, she was even great despite the Mary's squealing over her at the viewing party I attended. These were my peers in age too - I grew up with her videos being the first bits of esoteric fashion I ever saw and I'd dress my little brother and myself up in clothes worn in strange ways to pretend that we were "monsters", so I thought that maybe I was supposed to be squealing like that and something was wrong with me like I'm not able to enjoy things - but I did enjoy her. Her looks were great and you could tell she is a fan of the show who got all the references.

The looks were great! Overall there was a high-level of performance from all of the queens - even the ones who would have been in the bottom weren't complete misses.

Trinity Taylor is not aiming for Miss Congeniality. I'd love that if she was mean/funny, but she seems to just be plain old mean. Is it me or does there seem to be an edge to queens from the deep South (even Ginger Minj has an edge - she just made it an endearing quality because she's funny).

I picked Sasha based only on the RuVeal at a party. My 2nd is Ferrah Moan and 3rd is Nina. I'm going to lose my ass this year. I think Sasha will climb up her own ass being artsy on some challenge and, if it doesn't work, Michelle will vore her. Ferrah Moan is gorgeous but doesn't seem to be funny or have poise (the "I've never vacuumed before" comment), so she'll be out midway when the competition stiffens. I'm thinking Valentina may surprise us and go all the way too.
