School Board Members Want Public Schools To Push For Gun Bans, Requirements For Parents

I said mass shooters prefer these weapons for a reason. We can discuss those reasons or not, but they’re relevant, regardless.

The AR-15 is the most common rifle in America, so saying that it’s commonly used in mass shootings is neither surprising nor insightful.

Then why do seatbelt and helmet laws exist? People complained those laws removed freedom of choice, too.

Same argument with antivaxxers and antimaskers. And folks who don’t like yielding the right-of-way to bicyclists.

Shit, folks complained about their right to choose being trampled when child restraints/car seats were mandated.

Of course ubiquity matters.

Just being popular doesn’t preclude it from being dangerous or misused — even regulated — for “law-abiding” folks.

I mean, we have warnings printed on paper cups because people don’t know how to not burn their faceholes with boiling hot coffee, ffs.

Haha.
