Good article, I agree with a lot in them. I guess its about finding a balance. Unfortunately there will be those rare times when fully kitted out SWAT members are needed, but obviously they don’t need to be doing traffic stops like that. My biggest issue is the all or nothing attitude that seems so prevalent on reddit. Seems like many people see problems and think everything is a problem(like my bit about people shot in the back). Theres a lot people don’t understand, but think google can teach everything.
Personally, I think we end the war on drugs and fight poverty, we will see so much of these police issues improve. As well as many other issues in out country.
