Sen. Joe Manchin Becomes Target In Democratic Senate Primaries

Also I wonder what is the line for people here? Like if Manchin went on Rogan and said he hates n-words and covid is a hoax, would they be like "yeah he's the best we got!" Manchin may not be saying a racial slur or saying COVID is a hoax, but him being against the CTC and other stuff has had impacts on people of color and our response to COVID.

I think a lot of people trying to look down on the idea of primarying him don't really disagree with him. And they seem to hate progressives more than Manchin. But look, if you want to build a fighting chance in a state you need to run primaries. Whether that's in CA, TX, VT, WV, PA, etc.

You cannot be afraid of losing an election. If Manchin is as strong as he is, he won't lose to progressives in WV. Or even someone slightly more left than him. However, if he does lose it means that a wave of energy has gone through WV Dems and that bodes well for the general.
