Sending out resumes

  1. 911 is going to laugh at you for calling because some dude somewhere isn't listening to you saying "no". And even if they take the call, the likelihood of police actually showing up is slim to none. This is very misplaced advice.

  2. People die because they are direct with men who won't listen to the word "no". Being direct in theory sounds like a great plan, but in reality it just isn't safe.

I don't give a flying fuck what "99% of guys" do if 1% is going to follow me, rape me, attack me, maim me, harrass me, murder me, drug me, or even hurl slurs and curses at me. I'm going to lie to every strange dude to keep that from happening. (By the way, we don't have to be interacting with them AT ALL to be treated in this manner.)

Every dude that is being perceived as pushy or perceived to be giving unwanted attention is a threat. Full stop. The other person has no way of knowing what his reaction to anything will be because he is a stranger. Nor should they be required to put themselves in danger because he can't pick up on context clues.

I can't move on with my life if I'm dead.
