[Serious] Redditors who've been 100% certain they're about to die, what was going through your head at that moment?

Was working the evening/morning shift with the university police when at about 12:15 a patrol unit came on the air saying their vehicle was being swarmed and the street was blocked. Seconds after another unit gave out a distress call that their vehicle had been swarmed by a large group of people, followed by unreadable transmissions due to excess noise. They couldn't be raised again. A third patrol unit called in from a higher post saying an extremely large group of people were marching through the street trashing everything and headed towards central campus (our location) and that they could see unit ** vehicle in flames. The dispatcher came on saying "All units on 1, all units on 1, 10-0 cover in place. 980, 980" which translates to "all units on 1(all patrol units) take cover in place, use caution. Restrict all calls to emergency" and continued to try and raise unit **.

All three officers were fine, two took cover without radios (left in car) and the third ditched his vehicle when people started throwing sh** in it. Molotoved the heck out of his car, the other was torn apart. The group died out before it ravaged too much but I was pretty sure I was going to be 100% messed up by that group.
