Shiite leader Ameri: Anbar is next, then Mosul

Yeah but Anbar is very different from Tikrit in the sense that Anbar has a very large pro-ISIS community. And ISIS has invested a lot in Anbar, Tikrit was more of a buffer and ISIS didn't even use their best weapons in Tikrit.

Which parts of Anbar are you talking about specifically?

In many areas, the Iraqi forces could establish themselves again with the support of the people. Anbar operational command was change a couple months ago and since then things have been going rather well. (Al Baghdadi operations were under new command).

That being said, there is still a very pro-ISIS community in Fallujah. However many in Baghdad would be happy to have a buffer between Baghdad and Fallujah.

Those tribes are radical, radical people never learn. Unfortunately, only force can shut them.

Even the most radical sheik sometimes steps down his rhetoric when he loses half his tribes sons in a few short weeks.

The arab media already made heavy anti-shia propaganda for Sunni Arabs. Linking that to the Anbar tribes who get a lot of influence from arab countries, I think that a lot of tribes will resist and it will turn into a full sectarian war. Plus I wouldn't trust tribes unconditionally cause some of them act like they are pro-government but are pro-ISIS. Anbar will be a hard case.

The tribes that chose ISIS have only few options. They can accept the Iraqi forces with open arms, or their cities will be a battle zone again and again.

Yeah, a lot of the Sunni Arab tribes still whine cause their big leader was destroyed and all their priviliges went gone after that.

They have tons of privileges. They are OVER represented in Parliament. They don't face any marginalization that shia or kurds faced under Saddam. Many are just unable to accept shia rule as it goes against their fundemental beliefs.
