The solution for homelessness in Sacramento? Try acceptance

Of course we have to accept it. When and how is the average citizen suppose to tackle homelessness? We work, go grocery shopping, take care or our homes, make meals, take care of our families, pay bills, schooling and everything else that comes with modern life. We try to keep up on local/state/federal politics and become involved where we can. But people only have so much time and energy in a day!

Instead of writing this editorial, why don't you tell us what programs are available to Sacramento homeless and how well they are working. Is there enough drug rehab? Is there enough mental health facilities? Are those places being audited and running efficiently? Is there a Section 8 housing crisis in Sacramento? There are soooooo many questions that need to be answered.

I need the local reporters and government representatives to give us a clear picture of what is currently happening and what proposals are to move forward. Maybe I missed something and there was an article about this, but I never hear anything that sounds like a rational analysis of the situation.

This editorial doesn't help.
