its long but please bear with me...So, basically I've been with my boyfriend for three years and a couple of months. He's honestly an awesome guy, he's smart, caring and the best I can ever ask for. However my problem is that he is very nice....nice as in he helps everyone and anyone if they ask and he goes out of his way to help them. Anyways, he spent the whole night helping his friend's brother with tires changes, he drove all over the NYC literally to get the tires and put them on and take them back etc., He left around 9 but he came home at like 4 in the morning and he had work at 6 but he leaves his house at like 5. it bothered me so much that he went out of his way to do all that for his friends brother but when i asked him to come home after work and rest since he didn't get any sleep, he completely ignored me and went on with his day. this isn't the first time something like this happened. He works like 5 hour shifts at Starbucks usually but sometimes more like 12 hour ones. My problem is that when I ask him to rest or don't go somewhere cause I want him to rest or stay in, he won't listen to me.....When i see him, he looks so tired but he just won't listen. Ive tired asking him nicely and i even fought with him...I really care about his wellbeing to the point that if I know that my work is gonna make him do extra work, I won't ask him at all so he won't have so much on his plate. it really bothers me that he does everything and anything when people ask him but when I ask him to rest or just stay home, he doesn't listen. HOWEVER, if he wants me to do something, he makes sure I do what he needs me to do. and I hate that because i love him so much that i cant refuse him. Please help...
