[Spoilers] So is trial by combat

it really doesn't lol. you've failed to produce anything but absence of evidence.

  • never took place in the North, ever
  • Andal tradition, the North is not populated by Andals

That's enough proof. The rest is you being annoying.

i'm not the one making unsubstantiated claims over and over again. it's your assertion to prove.

Still hiding, hu? Prove to me that trials by combat are a thing in the North. They don't happen there, but you could still try. Don't shy away, present your evidence, and don't hide behind "your assertion yadda yadda". As I said, the limited material that exists points to me being right.

oh, sorry. did the bullshit word get under your skin?

No, princess. Just conflicting opinions and stuff...

yes. he was a usurper. there's a reason why he wanted Daenerys and Viserys dead.

He wanted them dead because their Dothraki underlings were a threat to the realm. The oaths nobility swore to him are valid. House Targaryen had exactly zero Houses in Westeros supporting them at the time.

also Davos was sentenced without witnesses.

Davos confessed, witnesses unnecessary. It's getting old, son. Stannis gave Davos a fair chance, Stannis didn't plan to murder his advisor. Contrary to Littlefinger, Davos had a real chance to get out of this alive if he was innocent. Littlefinger's had no chance to leave Winterfell alive.

doesn't matter; he confessed.

If he didn't confess, he'd still be dead. Planned murder invalidates whatever show trial the Starks set up in Winterfell.
