Starting going to the gym has made my cravings go up! What should I do?

-You didn't gain 5-7 pounds, your weights just fluctuating. Start weighing yourself when you wake up in the morning, that's when you're depleted of water/food and your weight is the most accurate. Always weight yourself at roughly the same time.

-If your goal is to lose weight, read the sticky in the sidebar on how to find your tdee, track your calories, and eat at a -500 to -750 deficit. Do not listen to the people telling you to gain weight if you have a goal weight in mind. Trust me man, I know how it feels to get hungry when you're cutting down. Just substitute more vegetables into your diet as they are very low cal and filling with meals.

-Continue to do some type of resistance training, if you lose a lot of weight, and don't build any muscle, you're not going to have the body you want. This is called skinnyfat. Look into some of the programs in the wiki on the sidebar and they can help give your gym time more structure
