I have been finding that it helps to sit and write notes after each flight lesson, to help solidify the order of operations, with some notes. To me it helps to decompress by memorializing what I learned that day to notes. Sometimes there is a gap between flights of a week or 2, and you never know when that's going to happen, so it's nice to have your notes on the last flight to scan and remember.
Right now my circuit notes are..

Roll a bit on the center line, Check Heading Indicator 310

Look at windsock, set ailerons to compensate
Full Throttle Slowly. Keep Hand on Throttle

Watch RPM, Suction, Oil Pressure
“Gauges are Green?
Watch Airspeed come alive at 40mph
“Airspeed is Alive”
Look for 60 MPH
“Rotating at 60 mph”
Look for Positive rate of climb
“Positive rate of climb"
“Pitching for Vy 82 mph.”
At 1600ft Gentle turn to left Heading 220
Level off at 1900’
Accelerate to 90 mph
Pull back throttle to 2100 rpm
Turn Downwind to Heading 130

At Mid Field, FLOW Check
-primer locked -mags both -master on -landing Light on
-Carb heat hot -mixture Rich -Fuel on Both -Check doors&Harness
Adjust Throttle and trim after Carb Heat to maintain 2100 rpm.
Turn Base, heading 040 throttle to 1700 pitch for 80mph

Turn to final
Lower flaps in stages, nose down to maintain 80 mph
Stay on center line, note position of numbers on windscreen.
Hold the center line in a crab.
Manage power from idle to 1600 depending on headwinds
At 300 ft agl transition to side slip.
Idle power
Gentle Flare at about 10’ up
Avoid Bubbling up, listen for stall horn.
Make contact with rear wheels
Keep back pressure up to hold front wheel off the ground
Roll out, don’t apply brakes until about 40mph

Carb Heat Cold
Flaps Up
Turn around and taxi to Start of runway.
