Throwaway account for obvious reasons...
So I started talking to this girl about 7 weeks ago after I put up a rather lengthy post in another sub detailing how I suck with with women. She PMs me and we start chatting on kik. The first night on kik I thought she was a guy, she tends to be rather flat with her messages and I just said whatever and was completely open. I eventually realized she was actually a girl around the time we signed off. Anyway, since then we’ve been chatting on kik at least 4 nights a week, some times more and end up talking about everything under the sun, although it’s normally about 75% me and 25% her. We’ve also spent a fair amount of time talking about sex but it’s normally pretty clinical and not very titillating. It has become clear that she can be pretty kinky though, and my interest in her hasn’t been complete platonic, although being able to talk with her in general is more important to me than just having a bit of fun.
To add a few wrinkles to this, we’ve never exchanged direct pictures of each other and she hasn’t been willing to tell me where she lives in anything but general terms(somewhere in SoCal) but through numerous small details over time it’s become clear that she lives within an hour of me. She’s been rather cautious since she had had a major stalking issue in the past with someone she met online, so the apprehension makes sense.
Although I haven’t seen a clear picture of her, other pictures that’ve we exchanged and her general attitude suggest that she’s pretty hot, so as things have progressed, I’ve entertained the possibility of us actually meeting, at least as a sort of day dream if nothing else. The funny thing is that since we started talking, she’s never really shown much interest in me sexually and since I’ve talked a lot about dates that I’d been going on, hashing out some stuff I never figured out with my ex and what not, I figured we were deep in the friend zone, which I was ok with. She’s always listened and offer a bit of advice when she had it, and that was enough.
Well this Thursday things took a big turn for the interesting. We were chatting as usual, then I went to the gym and told her I’d be around later. When I came back she gives me her number and tells me to call her since she was busy doing stuff and couldn’t type much. She had also been drinking a bit at this point. So I call and we end up talking for several hours, kind of jumping in and out of deep topics and light BS. It starts getting late, she’s obviously been drinking a bit more and ends up asking me if I’d like to go to this party she is thinking about having in a couple weeks. I say sure and we end up talking a bit more and then she basically leads us into having phone sex. She was kind of going back and forth though, so we had a few starts and stops but it eventually went the whole way.
Afterwards she gets a bit weird and says maybe we shouldn’t talk anymore but says it in a questioning way, so I didn’t put too much stalk in it and then after we got off the phone she was still being kind of provocative through a few more kik messages(it seemed she hadn’t cum yet) Anyway, next day she pings me on kik saying she made it in to work ok(she had an early day) and I told her that the night before was no big deal, no judgement, no labels, just friends who had some fun together. A couple more messages and it seems like everything is cool. We normally don’t chat on the weekends, as she normally isn’t available, so I have yet to see if everything actually is cool.
At this point I see things going in a lot of directions, everything from her fading out still because things got “weird” to maybe some kind of FWB deal. I don’t think there’s an LTR here, I don’t think our lifestyles would mesh long term but something short term seems possible. Obviously since alcohol was involved on her side, it may all be a one time slip but she had been somewhat more open on one other occasion(again she had been drinking) so at least part of her seems to want something to happen between us.
tl;dr: Met a girl on reddit, been chatting for 7 weeks, she basically knows all the fucked up shit in my life and I figured we were friend zoned. Thursday night she gets a bit drunk, gives me her phone number and after several hours of talking we end up having phone sex. We live about an hour from each other, so the possibilities for a FWB thing seem possible but who knows.
