I wish there was more I could say to comfort you. I understand exactly how you feel. Heartbreak is never is easy to deal with. It seems like the only thing that helps the pain is time. I’ve always tried to look at my past failed relationships as learning experiences. I always learned things about myself, tried to identify possible patterns I have in order to avoid repeating the same mistakes. I know that not every single person is a liar and a cheater. I truly believe that each new person you choose to start a relationship with is a clean slate and shouldn’t be punished because of pain caused by previous partners. It’s just very hard to open up and trust again after you experience heartbreak and betrayal. Only time will tell how you handle things if you choose to connect with someone again.
