TIL: An Alaska senior was quoted $65,000 for his dental work. He ended up flying and driving 3,700 miles to Mexico in order to get the entire operation done for $3,000.

Oh, it's a shame the two party system, but you have to pick issues that are more important than others.

Border security. I spent a couple months in Mexico for work as well. I understand that wanting to stop illegal immigration is not the same as hating Mexican people. I read the stories locally that don't make it to national media. There are shootings all of the time, and there is not enough manpower.

The other part for me was health care. I support universal health care, but Obamacare is joke. I was one of those first six people to sign up (possibly). My case number is in the first 1000. I got health care right away because I was NOT a citizen at the time. My husband had to wait 9 months to sort out. We moved away for a bit, now when reapplying he got it right away, but I am waiting three months now again because I am now a citizen and changed my name. It's a nightmare worthy of an entire book.

Gay rights. When I came to the US for the first time, the very first day I spent going to a gay parade. It was wonderful. It was the first time gay military members openly marched. I was there. This would never, ever happen in Russia. I supported that cause quite a lot, but I realized a lot of gay people were closet Republicans, especially in San Diego. Social issues != Economic issues

Now with that out of the way, it has just come down to economic and race relation issues. I can't stand racism, and I think the radical left is responsible for a rise in it. I also won't vote for a Republican like Cruz or Rubio that might strip civil rights of LGBT people, so I am very happy Trump came to shake things up so people like me now can vote more conservatively without religion being a driving factor.
