Today marks 1,000 days since Flint had clean drinking water

My son broke his arm in a suspect manner. He was at his mother's house when it happened. (Full disclosure: He has down syndrome, and allegedly got his arm caught in his bedrail and broke it in his sleep. Kids with DS tend to NOT feel pain as the rest of us do, and I can confirm that.)

The twisting break was cause for concern for the ER doctor. Usually, these fractures occur when someone pulls UP on a toddler's arm (grabbing him by his arm in an upward motion- I'm sure you can picture it)

We have joint legal custody, but she is the primary custodian (Indiana is.... something else).

I had no idea that he had broken his arm until she contacted me after they left the hospital. The next day, the CPS agent contacted me and informed me that I (as well as she) was under investigation. They came, interviewed me, a lot of bullshit questions, looked at his room, walked around my house. A sheriff came and did the same thing.

Apparently, they did the same thing for her. Also interviewed her boyfriend.

In the end, everything was (supposedly) fine. Sent me paperwork saying that I wasn't part of that particular situation, and that they hadn't found any wrongdoing by my ex or her BF.

And that was that.
