Tracy Claeys Has No Idea What He's Talking About

Clayes may have been in a Catch-22 here, but I hold him responsible and worthy of being fired because of lack of leadership.

He was reactive meaning also that he was not proactive.

1- he ran a locker room where the incident happened in the first place showing that either a) the players did not know or understand what personal conduct policies mean within a national context of increased attention towards sexual assault on college campuses or b) they knew the rules and broke them anyway while (allegedly, albeit even likely) gangraping a student.

2 After the incident- the rest of the players did not know what was being investigated. This is likely a result of the Administration themselves offering little information- but I would make the argument that as a leader and highest person accountable, you should have an insatiable desire to understand the facts of the matter and at least lay the groundwork to the players that something has taken place and it is being investigated. As a leader, this is what you do.

3 When it broke- he lost control of his team, with the players rallying around themselves separate from the coaching staff in response to these perceived injustices from the administration, forcing him to take sides. I believe that even had he taken sides with the administration, he still should have been fired for allowing this shit to manifest under his leadership.
