Why do transgender people lurk in this sub?

What did I say that was offensive?

I find it hard to believe that you weren't being deliberately insulting.

How is saying in a thread about why trans people come here "they like to hide here and complain about creepy trans while doing nothing about it" the worst thing in the world and alienating?

"The worst thing in the world?" That's your hyperbole, not mine.

You guys don't do anything.

There's so few of us!

I do what I can, but I am, in fact, just one person. There aren't many of us, so even though some of us do stand up to them, we're never as successful as we'd like to be. I don't see why stating a fact (e.g., that we're outnumbered) is so offensive. We are outnumbered by a lot. That doesn't mean we're all just giving up.

Does that make those views politically okay for you just because women don't have a unanimous viewpoint?

That's not quite the same. Every woman should have dominion over her own body. I don't have a right to tell anyone what to do with their body, regardless of who agrees with what. On the issue of women's spaces, some of them do include transwomen. Some explicitly include us and some just don't exclude us. I'm not here demanding that the rules be changed to accommodate and include me despite women's objections, but this particular rule does accommodate and include me. I'm not going to fight it with anything but a polite disagreement if someone wants to change it, but it already exists.

The fact that you add the qualifier of "doctor's note" means you know you're making excuses. As for getting that note, it's not exactly hard and AGPs can get it too as women here have witnessed time and time again.

I disagree. I believe that, when it comes to public women's spaces (e.g., restrooms and locker rooms), it's reasonable to include trans women as long as we define trans women. Other women, some of them gender critical feminists, have expressed similar sentiments. I understand that you disagree, but I don't think we'll reach consensus on this one.

thinking you and your ilk (HBSers, 'truscum', transsexuals) are different

Yes, I do think I'm different from most of the trans community.
