The way the Republican party has bent over backwards to defend and justify the actions of a deranged man like Donald Trump just because he wormed his way to the head of their party, the ways they blatantly cheated our system repeatedly from the impeachment farce to the way they are slamming out judicial appoints knowing they're doomed, and the way they are politicizing the response to a fucking global pandemic that has needlessly killed 140k Americans have convinced me that while I do not identy strongly with the democratic party I know for sure that I am not even the same species as Republicans and I will never vote for another one as long as I'm alive.
