The missionary didn't owe him anything, and it's not unkind or un-Christ-like behavior to respect when someone tells you they are uninterested in talking.

Seriously, there are complaints when missionaries wont leave them alone, now there are complaints they aren't talking with them enough, if you aren't interested in the church why complain that a missionary didn't talk to you?

What I want to know is what the OP is going to do should the missionary in question come to his house again. I'm curious how the police report will read. "Man was justified in beating the boy since he didn't shake his hand at church last Sunday."
