Valentine’s Day Rant/Rave

I mentioned this in another post, but often times people who claim to be romantic are just waiting to be romanced.

It's a day for the both of you to show love, it's not your birthday, so don't wait on him to make it a special day for you, put in a bit of effort too.

I am the romantic, so I do romantic things. My husband is at work and I have the day off, so while he's out, I'm going to decorate the house, put rose peddles all over the floor, and run to the store to buy him his favorite treats. Then I planned an at home romantic date night, with candles, wine, a delicious meal, and a good movie to cuddle up and watch. We are normally outdoorsy people, but the snow is coming down extremely hard today where I live, so going out is kinda out of the question today. So at home date it is.

He's not as "Hollywood rom com romantic" as I am, but he did buy me some beautiful roses and one of my favorite treats to show that he was thinking of me! It was very sweet!

Sometimes, you have to plan it out too. Can't just wait for him to wine and dine you and then get disappointed.
