I just had this too! I have long eyelashes (Much to the disgrace of Mrs Ponytoaster) and it took some getting used to getting the buggers to stay in and not just fall out. Also found sometimes it was hard to get them out after a 12hr day. Eye drops sorted that out (Hypermelose i think which is also suitable for contacts)

Ordered them and collected them a day before I started WFH last week so not really had a chance to wear them! (only use them on work days)

You can definitely order online for sure if you use a reputable retailer and know your prescription, but you may want to wait for the all-clear from the opticians just to make sure nothing else is wrong.
