Hey r/Denver.
I'm a military bratt with no serious ties to any one location. I was born on the East Coast, went to Elementary School in Asia, Middle School in the South, High School in Europe, and College on the West Coast. Right now I'm living with my parents in El Paso cuz they got stationed at Bliss, but I'm thinking of moving to Colorado soon. My Mom said she used to live in CS in the 80's and 90's when she first enlisted and really loved it, so I'm thinking of heading up and possibly planting some roots. Colorado appeals to me because I love to ski, smoke weed, sunny alpine weather, and I'm hella gay.
Thing is, I get the impression that people in Colorado dislike transplants. And tbh that's something I'm concerned about because in certain places I've lived if you weren't "from there" you really couldn't break into the social scene (namely the West Coast).
