What are your favorite gut health tips or learnings?

Here are the top 10 tips I found helped support my gut health and help me feel better, and that didn’t involve expensive supplements... 1. I stopped eating wheat / gluten…this is arguably the #1 thing I did 2. Did a 48-72 hour bone broth fast to help give my digestive system a break and nourish my gut 3. Avoided ALL grains and legumes 4. Ditched all sugars and dairy 5. Switched to a very clean diet consisting mainly of vegetables, fish, meats, nuts and good fats 6. Always make sure I get 8-9 hours of sleep every night no matter what 7. Stopped drinking alcohol and coffee 8. I stopped taking NSAIDs, excessive antibiotics, antacids and any other unnecessary drugs - spoke to my doctor of course!

  1. Focused on getting rid of daily stresses, especially at work - found meditation amazing for this
  2. Sounds funny, but started chewing my food 2-3x more, eg 20 chews per bit
