I've seen a lot of people who didn't know there's a vaccine. I'll share this as well. Get it, because chicken pox isn't the only thing you have to worry about.

A couple years ago, I got Bells Palsy. It's basically the chicken pox virus back saying "I couldn't kill you, but let me fuck up your life for a bit."

My face went paralyzed on one half because the virus attacks the nerve that controls all face function on that side. Food tastes like shit, you can't drink water without pinching your mouth shut with your fingers but worst of all, you can't blink. Your eye gets stupid dry which hurts like nobodys business! So you have to put shit goop in your eye to keep it from drying or you go blind. I put a swim goggle on it with a pirate patch (which is really hard to say with half your mouth not working). Luckily, just as the goggle was starting to tear through the skin around my eye from constantly being wet, my face movement SLOWLY came back.

And you might think, what, does this last a few days? No bitch. Try 4 weeks. And there's no guarantee it will ever come back. Then you have to get surgery to get some artifical movement back. After a week of this, you'll wish you had gotten the fuckin vaccine.
