What is a disadvantage of being the youngest child?

  • you may end up getting bullied by every family member
  • you may end up feeling totally incapable and dumb
  • you may feel undeserving of things your siblings just received automatically because of your intrinsic ‘badness’
  • you may feel like you are always in the way and a nuisance
  • you may not get included in certain activities because they just ‘forgot’ about you
  • you may be put to bed just to be out of the way. You may not be in need of sleep at all.
  • you may not have a dignified seat at the table and just be squished in a small place on a small stool

But all these things may end up helping you escape this clan for good. And then you get to live your very own life and never have to answer to anybody again.
