Dude approached me on the street, asked me how to get to the beach, when I told him he immediately argued with me (I've lived here for 8 years at this point and knew the city like the back of my hand). Then he said 'this city is very ugly, I came here to sightsee but there's nothing here', then he continued to follow me to my workplace, talking about himself all the time. He told me that he was doing some studies etc. and I asked him if it was a PhD and he said 'wow, not many people here know what a PhD is'. I was young and stupid so I gave him my Facebook info and he started messaging me in broken English. He didn't bother to remember where I worked (theatre, he said a museum), his messages were really weird, he managed to offend the city I live in, my topography knowledge and my entire country in 10 minutes.
