What is it like having anxiety?

I get a feeling that something really bad is about to happen like imminent danger, racing and/or intrusive thoughts, heart rate increases, sweating, may feel light headed, feel like not getting enough oxygen or hands and feet tingling from too much oxygen. Nerves are always on edge, getting jumped easily by noises etc. Basically feeling on edge all the time. Hyperfixating on everything bad that could happen in any given situation without logic - "I'm going to be stuck in this traffic for several hours, I have no food with me, I'll get low blood sugar pass out and crash my car"

Other people don't understand why you react that way to things that they have no problem doing - like talking on the phone, petting a dog, being stuck in traffic.
