What’s something that you appreciate the most in your male friends?

I find them easier to get along with and generally less sensitive. While there's certainly plenty of women this way, they seem to be fewer in numbers and so the gender balance of my friendships reflects that. My friendships are probably 70% male 30% female.

That said, as I grow older, my experience with women has improved.I grew up ugly but the average woman does not. Women who are "past their prime" start to develop confidence in who they are that leads to them being more interesting and less sensitive due to not being handled with kid gloves anymore. In fact, I'm kind of excited to meet more women as I get older because women I knew in their teens and early 20s have become a lot more resilient and outspoken in their 30s and 40s!
