Not everyone that is clean is on suboxon my friend… I 100% was when I first got clean, . I’ve been off it for 6ish years or so. I did not have a job, insurance, or money to continue that kind of treatment, so I had no choice but to get weened off. I also have the belief that people that are recovering using suboxon are just as valid. They are sober and clean from drugs. It definitely helped me get my life back into some sort of order..

I see that you also said “ex addicts”, and I just want to let you know that I’m glad you are clean, and proud of you for doing so

I feel like it would ruin my career, because not everyone is understanding of addiction, especially the older generation. A lot of people that are above me in seniority are 60+ years old. I think it would cause a lot of the people I work with to treat me differently, up to making my job miserable. I overthink a lot of things… possibly in this situation as well…. But I personally feel it could ruin my “professional” life.
