Thoughts on the first half here.
A bit behind on assignments so this isn’t going to be as verbose as usual. It became verbose anyway.
Octavia made peace with her past and alliance with the Gael clansmen last week, so now it’s Arthur’s turn for introspection. The conclusion that he reaches is pretty simple:

I’d say the show explored those concepts well enough. It drove the story to interesting places. In spite of that, I never really felt excited for the next episode. I thought the quality of its visuals were consistently good and some character pairings like Morgan and Octavia were fun to watch, but otherwise I felt the same dullness that I did during the first half. So I’d really only recommend the show to fantasy enthusiasts. Idk, not much else to say.
