Whats with the obssession with Non-Trads?

I was a naval submarine officer For 8 years prior to applying for med school. I listen often to the complaints of little 21 y/o POS first world I can’t stay up for 18 hrs in a row BS which was my life for years in a job that didn’t take kindly to complaints. Sure you figured out that mommy and daddy wanted to pay for you to go med school early on but I had to finance my way in first and wanted to pay for it in hard earned cash and real life experience. I had a good GPA in undergrad and chose to serve my country first and lead others before saving lives. You should be honored that you have the opportunity to use your test taking skills, class time and limited perspective to convince a board that you are some type of hot shot without anything to actually back it up. Work, serve, maybe even lead and then add something to your resume...or is that too much of a hard task for a “child being punished by a non traditional” millennial BS. Grow up - from a grown up millennial.
